Tulipanes Papagayo amarillos y verdes, y Narcisos bicolores.
Springtime’s
coming to our Patio…
According
to the National Astronomical Observatory (National Geographic
Institute-Ministry of Development); in 2015, spring starts on March 20, at 23
hours and 45 minutes.
But
that’s outside, in the real world... Here at The Patio we have rebelled against
the harsh reality. And, taking advantage of the courtyard’s magic as well as
the illusion of the artisans who stay in, we have decided to start the
springtime just right now.
To
celebrate such an important event, we present a new floral arrangement to you.
It has been created along the last two months, with many hours of daily work. This
time we would like to pay tribute to the Mimosa, whose colour and good smell move
us into spring while we are in the middle of the cold winter.
The
reproduction in scale 1:12 of the tiny and spherical flowers of this tree has
been one of the most difficult, laborious and complicated challenges that we
have faced recently.
“Mimosa”
is also a reversible bouquet. It can be placed on one side, showing only the
Mimosa as a ‘main character’; or on the other side, where the Mimosa is a
‘supporting actor’ complementing a springtime arrangement of red tulips, yellow
and green parrot tulips, and bicolour daffodils. And, everything in a very
special holder: a yellow and white turning vase by IGMA’s artisan Bertie
Pittman.
Welcome
